the farewell exhibition
I designed & built the Farewell Exhibition as a digital time capsule for the graduating class. It is an interactive archive that brings over 200+ memories, personalized farewell cards, and custom audio tracks into one seamless experience.
Context
a place to come back to
The archive grew beyond the farewell cards into more than 200+ memories collected from across the batch. Instead of another shared folder, I wanted them to live somewhere that felt intentional — something closer to an exhibition we could wander through years later.
The cards
every card had a voice
I designed the entire collection of cards in Figma to ensure they felt genuinely personal. Every classmate had their own farewell card featuring their title/nickname, paired with a soundtrack chosen specifically for them based off a personality trait, an inside joke, or an associated memory.
Reflection
a shared effort
This gallery only exists because the class filled it by contributing their best photographs, Ahmed & Shahum being my absolute day 1 beta testers, and my little sister, Maryam, for taking care of the audios, all in one night <3
